
Talgarth Walking Festival 2025 is a Great Success!
Many thanks to everyone for your help in making Talgarth Walking Festival a success this year. We are fortunate to have a strong organising team backed by your support in volunteering to lead walks – a crucial part of a successful Festival, and for carrying out the large range of tasks including running the Hub, organising refreshments, marshalling and transport.
Thanks also to all the participants who make it all worhwhile. We hope to see you again in 2026.

Beverley Thornley’s ‘Notes on a River - Afon Llynfi’ offering insights into her forthcoming art book and her exploration of the Llynfi River.
Mark Harrell’s artist trail, which showcases local studios and exhibitions, celebrating the creative spirit of Talgarth.
The Talgarth Walking Festival has built a reputation for offering something for everyone and the 2025 programme is no exception. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or a first-time walker, you’ll find a range of guided walks designed to inspire and delight.
From tranquil town strolls uncovering Talgarth’s rich history to challenging hikes across the breathtaking Black Mountains, the Festival showcases the best of what our region has to offer.
